Detailed Itinerary

Day 1  Arrive Changsha by bullet train or Flight . Stay in Fenghuang city 

Arrive Changsha airport in the morning , Driver will pick you up from Changsha , 6.5 hours private car transfer to Fenghuang city ,Guide will be waiting for you in your hotel . Check in hotel. Free & easy , enjoy the night view of fenghuang . Fenghuang Jiantian resort Busines room or similar hotel

Day 2  Fenghuang-Zhangjiajie (B)

Take a visit to fenghuang in the morning , transfer to Zhangjiajie wulingyuan area in the afternoon. Check in hotel

Day3   Zhangjiajie-National Forest Park(B)

Today we will take a tour to zhangjiajei national forest park, It’s about 40 minutes driving by car to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a World Scenic Heritage Site since 1992. Take a cable car up Tianzi Mountain and walk on the trails to admire large areas of grotesque peaks. Viewing platforms along the way allow you to see the scenery at different angles.

Lunch on the mountain is very basic, and it is suggested that you bring some snacks. Local villagers sell fruits and food along the way, which are also good to try. If you prefer, we can arrange to have lunch at a McDonald’s on the mountain, and have a break in the air-conditioned building.

In the afternoon, take the E-co shuttle bus to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area where recently-named Hallelujah pillar, one of the inspirations for Avatar’s floating rocks is located.we will use the  Bailong Elevator to descend the montain, a glass elevator built on the side of a cliff, taking only 2 minutes. Back to hotel for rest .

Day 4    Zhangjiajie Grand canyon-/Glass bridge/ Gold whip stream (B)

Enjoy a morning view of the zhangjiajie Grand Canyon completed with aesthetically pleasing cliffs, caves, streams, and lakes. Take time to observe flora and fauna of this natural museum of the

northern temperate zone. Slide down to the bottom of the hill where you have the opportunity to cross a half-mile glass bridge ,(the Glass bridge is built between two mountains of zhangjiajie Grand canyon, it is 375meters long and 6meters wide , With a height of 300meters from bottoms ).

then we will take a nice walk in Gold Whip Stream for a pleasant stroll along the stream, surrounded by grotesque rocks. You might see some monkeys there. Please don’t touch or scare them for safety reasons, but giving them food is OK. You will really enjoy the fresh air and pure water here .

Day5   Tianmen mountain, Sky walk. Cable way , sandstone painting gallery(B)

Get ready to take the world’s longest cable car to the top of Tianmen Mountain
Once we arrive at the mountaintop, wander along the Ghost Path, 1400m above land. Along the way, you can also appreciate tourist attractions like Celestial Mountain Top, Glass Path etc. You can also marvel at such sights as the 99-Turn Road and the 999-Steps that lead to the gate of Tianmen from up high on a glass sky walk .
After descending Tianmen Mountain, we will take a shuttle bus ride along the Heaven-Linking Avenue.

 Day6 Zhangjiajie/ Yichang By Train (B)

Take morning train from Zhangjiajie to Yichang (soft sleeper ), yichang guide and driver pick you up , transfer to Yichang port ,

Board the ship at Maoping Port in Yichang.
Embarkation safety briefing & facilities introduction.

Day7   Yangtze River Cruise (B / L / D)
